Most of the indications suggest that you should investigate the problem further, at minimum with an experienced breeder, but also possibly with a vet. (When you're newer and more inexperienced, please err on the side of caution and seek out a veterinarian if you have ANY doubt)

However, there are a few symptoms which ALWAYS require immediate medical attention. Be sure to seek IMMEDIATE help if your alpaca is twitching, bleeding or experiencing labored breathing, extreme lethargy or severe diarrhea.
