When you purchase your acreage or decide to put Alpacas on your existing property, be sure to become familiar with the plants that they will be in contact with.

And, because alpacas are not native to the United States, some very common plants are actually poisonous to them. Your local breeder or state breeders' association can help you determine what plants in YOUR area are toxic to your animals.
